Fun on the water with our RYA TRAINING CENTRE this weekend

This weekend was busy for our RYA training centre. The weather did not disappoint with clear skies, sunshine and fair winds.

On Saturday many young people took to the water in our RYA onboard sailing sessions, we had two groups out. One group focused on speed control and stopping, whilst the other group revisited and experimented with their 5 essentials.

On Sunday we had the first of our John Apthrop Super series race; whereby club members can try racing with the support of our RYA instructors. Everyone sailed really well, the results are below.

Across the weekend we had Adult level 1 and level 2 courses running too. Well done to all who gained their next sailing certificate.
